07/28/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Jackson is a coachable LHP/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. On the mound, Jackson works with a clean arm and keeps his shoulders inline to the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 74mph with good lateral movement. Breaking ball sits from 60-62mph with 1-7 break. Changeup sits at 64mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Jackson makes the routine plays and works to stay directional toward his target. Transfer is clean with accuracy on his throws. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance with comfortable/relaxed hands. He works to barrel up the baseball and sprays the ball to all fields. Getting into his load sooner can help Jackson to get more into his swing resulting in increased power. Overall, Jackson is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.
