01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Jackson is an athletic OF prospect who showed well at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Jackson shows efficient footwork and works behind fly balls well. He gets into a square position and fields ground balls out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and throws from a 3/4 angle, keeping his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. He is controlled getting into a simple load and remains centered in his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and loud line drives. Overall, Jackson is a talented prospect who should find success going into his sophomore season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
