09/25/2022 - All-In Membership - York, PA Jacob is an athletic OF prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Jacob shows efficient footwork and takes good angles. He fields in a square position and has a clean exchange, making on-line throws to his target. Long tossing can help Jacob build up his arm strength. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a closed stance and takes a square stride. He works through a level swing and sprays the ball to all fields. Jacob can barrel up more baseballs by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Jacob is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
