07/26/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City Jacob is a young player who is coachable and continuing to improve. In the infield, he has a long over the top throwing motion. He has sure hands and his footwork is active. He covers good ground laterally and always makes the routine play. He can continue to work on his pre-pitch routine/steps and also making sure his hands are in a good ready position. In the outfield, Jacob shows good range and sure hands. He can work on charging the ball more aggressively and getting his momentum headed towards his throwing target. At the plate, Jacob gets his weight back well with his load and gets good extension. He can continue to work on making sure his hands stay high while he loads, striding towards the pitcher and getting his lower half involved. Focusing on timing and contact points will also allow him to drive the ball to all fields. Overall, Jacob is continuing to build confidence in his game every time he takes the field.
