07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Jaden is a coachable 1B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Jaden shows efficient footwork and flashes good range to his backhand side. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange to throw. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them consistently on-line to his target. Jaden can improve defensively by getting into a lower fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits from a firm front side in his lower half. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact and gap to gap pop. Jaden can improve as a hitter by keeping his head on the ball consistently. On the mound, Jaden keeps his eyes on target as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and has a controlled landing. Jaden shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 59-62mph with 11-5 break. Jaden can improve as a pitcher by driving his lower half more. With four more years to develop, Jaden has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
