11/12/2023 - National Showcase - Marlborough (Boston), MA Jadyn is a 2026 catcher from Sandwich High School, Ma. Behind the plate, he centers his body to the baseball and achieves a low stance. He likes to work from low to high and keeps his thumb under the baseball. Ball sticks to the pocket and he redirects the ball from a high 3 qtr. slot. Is on-time to block the baseball and keeps his chin down. In the batter box, he shows a simple and repeatable swing. Has a balanced set up and creates separation with his top hand. Proves to be a contact type hitter and can generate production to the pull side. Overall, Jadyn is a fine player and with 3 years left to develop, scouts think he can become a solid player for his program.

01/13/2023 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Jackie Robinson Training Complex (HS) Jadyn Driscoll is a 2026 C prospect. He receives well behind the plate with soft hands. He recorded a low pop time of 2.81s. His exchange is good and he gets rid of the ball quickly. His feet are quick while blocking. At the plate, he has a squared stance with relaxed hands. He exhibits a good load and rhythm with no stride. His swing is on-plane and he rotates his core well to spray the ball to all fields. Needs to make sure his lower half stays engaged and consistent. He does a good job with pitch recognition and has a nice quiet approach overall.

11/13/2022 - All-In Membership - Marlborough (Boston), MA Jadyn is a catcher in the 2026 class. Behind the dish, he has a squared stance and creates a solid target for his staff. He tracks the ball in well on pitches and with his blocks. He can move with the pitch and can kickout well on dirtballs. His exchanges are clean and releases from a ¾ slot. Working to throw the top of the baseball will become essential as he moves forward. At the plate, he works to create rhythm and is timing is smooth. He has on-time separation and his hands gain the proper launch position. He hits off a firm front side and shows contact type hitter at this stage. He can get steep with his path at times and with more strength and body control, he can flatten his plane. Overall, Jadyn showed some natural ability and with hard work and productive repetitions, he can become a fine high school player.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
