12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Wilson is a two-way 3B/RHP that will graduate in 2018. Defensively, Jai'Len shows quiet hands and keeps momentum working in-line to target. Presenting the hands earlier, out in front of the body while softening the hands to avoid stabbing action will be beneficial to Wilson. At the plate, Wilson shows balance throughout his stroke and keeps the barrel level through the zone properly. Developing coordination with the hips and hands will increase bat speed and keep the swing moving together with the body to increase barrel accuracy and pop. On the mound, Wilson showed proper balance and displayed a square, controlled landing with the chest finishing over the front knee. Repeating the delivery with consistency and working on an arm strengthening program are areas for Jai'Len to work on. With Wilson having years ahead to improve, his coachability will help him to get the most out of his abilities.
