01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Jaisen's athleticism is otherworldly and he uses it to make a huge impact in the game. He is a perfect top of the lineup hitter with bat to ball skills and a level path to go along with his absolutely blazing speed to get down the line (4.12 H-1st). His hands are quick and work directly to the ball to make consistent, square contact and hit the ball hard on a line. He tracks balls down with ease in the gaps and shows a prototypical centerfield profile with tons of range and athleticism. He fields low and come through to throw accurately to his target and cut down runners. Jaisen will be a table setter at the top of a lineup at the next level very soon.

06/29/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Jaisen is a tremendous athlete with all the physical tools in his arsenal and is exciting to watch. His speed in the outfield and on the bases is undeniably game-changing. It is surprising to ever see a ball drop in the outfield on his watch and he is a terror stealing and taking extra bases. At the plate, he has very quick hands, that generate very good bat speed and hard hit balls all over the field (exit velo = 91 mph). He stays within himself with a level path hitting line drives and using his incredible speed on the bases. This well-rounded prospect continues to shine and has great things ahead of him.

06/14/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Jaisen continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has really improved, now an tremendous runner as indicated by his 60 time of 6.35. In the OF, he uses his quick / athletic feet well in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls as he covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he shows big play potential. At the plate he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (93 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed through a direct / level swing path. He has strength in his swing and works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields, displaying gap to gap pop. Jaisen will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his baseball tools.

05/08/2016 - College PREP - Tampa, FL Jaisen is an athletic OF who has a bright future on the diamond. Foot speed is tremendous as indicated by his 60 time of 6.50. At the plate is where he shows best displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing with baseball exploding off bat when centered. Barrel accuracy is a plus as he works to stay inside the ball, displaying gap to gap pop. In the OF he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He is aggressive and works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to target. Range is outstanding as he covers a lot of ground, displaying plus range. Jason has a ton of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his baseball tools.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
