Jake continues to show similar abilities in his game since his last workout in the Cape. He has soft, quick hands, playable feet, and a good overall idea. Jake moves well laterally, he makes plays, and flashes a decent backhand. He throws with a long arm action with accuracy and average arm strength to his target. Jake can improve defensively with better rhythm, playing from low to high, and not throwing against his body. At the plate, Jake has a square set-up, good load, and he can spray to all fields. Jake has a level swing, average bat speed, and shows some pop in his bat. Offensive numbers can improve with a looser grip, added bat speed, and improved extension through the ball.
