09/18/2011 - College PREP - Adrian (Detroit), MI Jake made significant strides in most areas in this workout. The biggest jump came in overall arm strength going from 74 to 83 mph. He improved his defensive evaluation as well along with his 60 yard dash time. He continues to be steady defensively making the routine play, is aggressive to the ball, and has confidence and consistency to his throws. At the plate, he has the ability to hit the ball the other way with some authority, keeps his hands inside the ball and shows good rhythm. A better pre-pitch load will help him get more use out of his lower body to help with overall power.
