08/18/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Dickinson, ND Jameson showed solid improvements in his all around game during his last workout. He raised arm velocity to 65 MPH, defensive skills improved, and hitting spiked. On the mound, Jameson has a clean arm circle and he works on a downhill plane. He tucks his glove well, gets good pivot off his back foot, and he throws strikes. In the OF, Jameson has active feet, he reads the ball well off the bat, and his arm is consistent to his cut off man. Offensively, Jameson has a square stance, fast bat speed, and he makes hard contact. He hits line drives and has pop in his bat when centered. Abilities can continue to get better with work on the following.

07/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Fargo, ND Jameson is an athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays OF. On the mound, Jameson has a clean arm circle, he keeps his eyes on target, and he stands over the rubber well balanced. He separates on time, has a controlled landing toward home plate, and he competes in the zone. In the OF, Jameson tracks the ball well, he makes plays consistently, and has a consistent/quick arm to his target. Offensively, Jameson has a square set-up, he loads well, and hits line drives. He rotates his hips, finishes his swing properly, and hits with some strength to the pull side. Offensive numbers can get better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
