06/03/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Jared is a RHH MIF that shows as a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range as indicated by his foot speed of 6.95. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip (91 mph velocity) on his throws. Defensive abilities are at near a pro level as he shows big play potential. With 2 years to further develop, Jared has a ton of upside and possesses the skill set that will play at a very high level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
