01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Jarin showed as a talented C/RHP at the Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. Offensively, he had good balance to hit, got his body into a good launch position with fluidity, and kept his hands inside the ball at contact. He had a middle approach and worked his backside through the zone with strength. Behind the plate, he had a good frame, sitting with a wide stance and receiving with strength in his wrists - getting his glove under the ball. He worked his feet in-line to throw and flashed pops in the 2.1 - 2.2 range. On the hill, he threw his FB from 77-82, spun an 11/5 CB with sharp action from 73-75, and showed a CH from 68-69. He had good mound presence with an ability to command his stuff, and attacked hitters early. He worked quickly and threw each pitch with purpose. Overall - Jarin is a very promising ball player that has present above average tools with 4 years of high school ball to play.
