07/28/2021 - Baseball Factory Southwest Championships 17U Jaron is a hard working 2022 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Southwest Championship. On the mound, he shows a confident demeanor and has a good idea on the mound. Starts with a small rocker step and shows a clean arm from a 3/4 arm slot. A 3 pitch pitcher who showed command of all 3 pitches. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 79mph with sinking action, a 10/4 shaped slider, and a changeup with some movement in the zone. In the field, he starts in an athletic position and quick feet while working through the baseball. Creates good fielding angles while fielding from a square fielding position and fields with firm hands. A quick exchange and creates momentum to his target. Throws were accurate with good carry and an arm velocity up to 86mph. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from an athletic and even stance with comfortable hands. On-time swing who made hard/loud contact to the pull side with an exit velocity up to 87mph during BP. With another year of growth and development, we see Jaron having a bright future on the baseball field.

09/30/2020 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Jaron is an athletic 3B/RHP prospect who showed well during the Arizona Fall Classic. At the plate, this RHH shows to be a real run producer. He is fluid getting his hands activated in his load and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud contact and great pull side power. In the field, Jaron makes plays and shows great arm strength across the diamond (91mph arm velo). On the mound, Jaron gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Jaron shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with arm side run. Breaking ball shows 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 70-74mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Jaron is a talented prospect who shows the skill set to contribute at the next level.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Jaron is an athletic 3B/RHP prospect who showed well at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Jaron shows efficient footwork and fields in an athletic position. He gets rid of the ball quickly and creates good carry on his throws. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and is controlled getting into a simple load. He takes a level swing with explosive bat speed, leading to great pull power. On the mound, Jaron shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 66-68mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 71-73mph. Overall, Jaron is a talented prospect who should find success going into his sophomore season.

09/25/2019 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Jaron continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At 3B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound. Fastball showed a range of 77-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

07/17/2019 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 16U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Jaron is a coachable RHP/3B prospect who showed well during the Under Armour Southwest Championships. On the mound, Jaron gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and keeps his eyes on target, finishing square to the plate. Jaron shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77mph. Breaking ball sits from 67-69mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits at 68mph. In the field, Jaron fields in an athletic position and makes a clean exchange. He gains momentum well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a wide stance with comfortable stance. He barrels up the baseball and flashes solid raw power. Overall, Jaron is a talented prospect who should find success going into his sophomore season.

07/09/2019 - California Select Training & Competition - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Jaron is a coachable RHP/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during the California Select Training & Competition On the mound, Jaron gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and takes a proper stride, driving his bag leg through. Jaron shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 81mph. Breaking ball sits from 62-66mph with late 11-5 break. In the field, Jaron takes a good first step and shows active footwork. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance with comfortable hands. He is controlled getting his hands activated and drives through well with his lower half. He produces explosive bat speed through the zone, leading to loud contact and great power to his pull side. Overall, Jaron is a talented prospect who is one to follow going into his sophomore season.

06/22/2019 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Jaron continues to shine on the diamond. In the IF, feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Throws are accurate to his target. At the plate, he shows a balanced / squared setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 3 for 7 with a 2B. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 78-7 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual shape. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but will benefit by developing more movement. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

07/17/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Jaron is an athletic and talented 2022 2-way prospect with a high baseball IQ and a good work ethic. At SS, Jaron has an active prep step, fields the ball in an athletic position, and has a clean exchange. Continuing to practice game like throws in his throwing program will increase his ability to throw from multiple arm angles and on the run. At the plate, Jaron starts in an open stance, has fluid pre-pitch movement, and loads his hands back into the drive position. He rotates his back hip into the ball, shows pull side pop, and stays balanced through contact. On the bump, Jaron gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and works north to south. He needs to continue to drive his back leg toward the plate and keep a strong glove side. Jaron will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

06/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 12-14) Jaron is a talented RHP/SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series. On the mound, Jaron shows a solid delivery as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose, clean arm action and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. Jaron shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph. Breaking ball ranges from 64-67mph with sharp 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 69-70mph with good sinking action. In the field, Jaron shows quick footwork and is very agile ranging to the ball, fielding in an athletic position. He has a quick exchange with a quick release on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and comes through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with explosive bat speed which leads to hard contact and gap to gap pop. With four more years to develop, Jaron has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Jaron is a hardworking and talented 2022 2-way player. In the OF, Jaron has an active prep step and reads the ball off the bat well. He works behind the ball and creates momentum with his lower half when he throws. At the plate, Jaron loads his hands back into the drive position and get his front foot down on time. He's aggressive on the fastball and shows good bat speed. On the bump, Jaron gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and attacks both sides of the plate. He works at a good pace and fills up the zone. Jaron will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

12/27/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Jaron continues to show a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays smooth actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls but needs to play through more with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared / athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 3 for 8. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 73-76 mph. Breaking ball displays 3/9 shape with across break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard.

12/03/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Sacramento, CA Jaron is an athletic, 2-way player as a SS/RHP. Defensively at SS, he takes quick routes/angles to the GB with (+) glove side range. He has a quick transfer to throw and fires the ball accurately to his target. On the mound, this RHP gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers a (FB, CB, CH) with quick arm action and pounds the zone with strikes. With the stick, Jaron shows an athletic setup with smooth rhythm to load. He whips his barrel fast through the zone and drives pitches with pop to his pull side. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
