09/29/2012 - Infield Accelerated Training Weekend (Commuter) (Ages 14-18) Jason is a young athletic third basemen, that displayed the ability to be a great infielder. Jason tends to let the baseball get too deep when fielding it, this causes him to play bad hops, and lift the head as he fields it. When he was in good fielding position and got his glove out front he showed good hands and ability. Jason will improve as he physically and mentally grows, with him being a young player he will have plenty of time to grow. As he became comfortable and confident with the changes he displayed great ability to be a solid infielder. If Jason works on his fielding position, and fielding through the baseball he will become more confident allowing the adjustments to be much easier. Also Jason should also focus on working on his first step, this will improve his range a great amount.
