07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Jason is a 2018 L/L 1B/LHP with a 5'10/170 lbs frame. Offensively, he showed feel for the barrel, attacking balls in the zone with present pull side pop. He began to implement more of a load in cage work and also loosened his actions for increased fluidity. At 1B, he made plays with a sure glove and was efficient with his footwork. He had a decent exchange and a quick release, but has a tendency to drop his elbow causing shoulder strain and tail. On the hill, he threw his FB from 75-78, spun a 1/7 CB from 66-67, and showed a CH from 69-70, all from the high 3/4 slot. He worked with free/clean arm action to deliver and worked fast pitch to pitch. Jason needs to continue building arm strength and consistency with his off-speed release points. In all - Jason is an intriguing follow that does a lot of things well on the diamond and has 3 years to build strength.
