Behind the dish, he was efficient with his feet and controlled with his body to receive with a soft/sure glove and block with a soft chest. He was active in moving his feet to throw, and quiet exchanging, throwing a 2.13 pop - 2.14 when he caught a runner stealing in game play. He called a good game with a decent idea, and worked hard in drills to improve his game. Offensively, he got his hands activated to launch and was level with his path to hit. He rotated his core to help boost bat speed, and worked in the cage on becoming more fluid to drive with both hands & hips. In all - Jayce is competitive, a good teammate, and very coachable.
