Jayden continues to shine on the diamond. With the bat, this strong righty has pop off of his barrel. He has an aggressive approach as he steps into the box looking to take a hack. Bat speed is quick to and through the zone. He connects and squares the ball up consistently, hitting line-drives up the middle of the field (getting 5 hits at the event). At the hot corner, Grover shows active prep on the balls of his feet. He gathers well, works in-line toward 1B with throws that shows carry across the diamond. Getting lower and working from the ground-up will help to improve his defensive skill-set. This RHP also got on the mound and showed the ability to throw strikes. FB shows sink as he keeps it down in the zone, resulting in ground ball outs. He repeats well, works quickly, and attacks hitters. He mixes well and varies his locations, spotting up to bot sides of the dish. Grover is a gamer that will make an impact with his bat.

Jayden is a lean, solid 3B/RHP that will graduate in 2016 and has potential at both positions. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 7.38 60 time. At 3B, defensive grade are well above average, showing smooth / athletic actions. He works to play through balls with his body and moves well side to side. Hands are soft / sure and he presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry and he throws from multiple arm angles as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup and displays well above average raw power. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed to and through the point of contact, creating extension. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields with the baseball exploding off his bat when centered, displaying gap to gap power. On the mound, arm strength is well above average as indicted by his top velocity of 83 mph. Fastball shows a range of 79-83 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with late / sharp run. Command / control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches, locating to both sides of the plate. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength. With 2 years to further develop, Jayden has a ton of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.
