03/06/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Glendale (Phoenix), AZ Jayden is a SS/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame lean build with strength present. At SS, showed smooth actions, with active feet, and has good body control at the baseball. Works from right to left and fields from a square fielding position with hands out front. Has a loose arm stroke and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 82mph across the diamond. Made on-line throws consistently, with a quick release, and he keeps moving throughout throwing process. On the mound, he separates his hands on time and gets extended to catchers mitt. He works with good tempo and keeps his frontside closed throughout delivery. He throws a FB that topped out at 72mph with plus command, an 10/4 shaped breaking ball with depth through strike zone, and a changeup with slight sink that he throws for strikes. At the plate, he hits from a crouched and even stance. Starts with a square glide step and smooth timing to his swing. He hits into a firm front side and showed good barrel control. Showed a direct barrel path as he hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph. With 3 years of growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
