06/12/2013 - Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Team One Florida Crisan has a solid, strong build at 6-0 and 205 pounds. He ran 7.66 in the 60 yard dash, an improvement of three tenths of a second over what we saw in February 2013. He posted release times between 2.03 and 2.15, with the lowest of 2.03 being an improvement of one tenth of a second since we last saw him. His throws had some carry, and his footwork was solid - stayed compact and gained ground towards target. Can work to stay lower out of the chute, and to keep upper body and arms looser and more relaxed during exchange and release. Did a good job of getting down to block balls in the dirt. Has some noise and excess motion to receive, can work to be simpler and more quiet to help with consistency. At the plate, he had an aggressive approach with loft power. Hands were quick to zone and he rotated his core well, he was able to turn on velocity with no problem. The ball got off his bat with excellent life, has strength and usable power. Had a lot going on with pre pitch and launch action, resulted in effort in swing at times - has room to improve barrel accuracy with a quieter and more simple approach.
