07/11/2015 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition - Session 1 Chris performed very well, earning him the MVP honors, at the Cape Cod Select Training and Competition with Baseball Factory. Defensively in the OF, he covered ground with ease after taking a good first step. He was efficient with his routes, making some balls in the gaps look routine. He even made a shoe string catch during game play, by charging the line-drive immediately off the bat, showing an exceptional read. Chris should continue to work on quickening his release, without sacrificing arm action, and boosting arm strength through a throwing program. Offensively, he generated good bat speed and showed some feel for the barrel. He was athletic in his AB's and was able to make adjustments with great aptitude. In all - Chris has a great baseball frame to continue to mold into a strong, successful ball player.
