07/22/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Bernardino, CA Jeremiah is a lean RHP/SS who will graduate in 2023. Foot speed is outstanding as indicated by his 6.95 60 time. At SS, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through on his release, staying inline towards the plate. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He slows his arm speed on his changeup tipping off pitch to hitters. He can improve as a pitcher by long tossing to build up his arm strength. With 2 years to further develop, Jeremiah has potential with time and room to improve his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
