09/16/2018 - College PREP - Moosic (Scranton), PA Jeremy is an athletic and talented 2021 2-way prospect. At SS, Jeremy is on time with his prep step, he anticipates the ball off the bat, and presents a low/early glove. He funnels the ball into his body, has a clean exchange, and throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, he starts in a crouched stance, and has a smooth load. He gets flat through the zone, has a quick bat, and stays balanced through contact. On the bump, Jeremy has good tempo in his delivery, stays squared towards his target, and controls his landing. His fastball sits 73-76 MPH, his breaking ball has 11-5 spin, and he has fastball arm speed with his changeup. Jeremy will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
