10/17/2010 - College PREP - Sauget (St. Louis), IL Jeremy participated in St. Louis as an OF and RHP, and showed similar abilities as he did at his last workout. Defensively, Jeremy has soft / sure hands, playable feet, and he tracks the ball well. He works to get behind the ball, he catches with 2 hands, and he squares his body to his target. Jeremy has a long / loose arm action, and throws with accuracy to his target. Added arm strength and finishing off his throws will help OF skills get better. On the mound, Jeremy has good direction toward the plate, he keeps his eyes to his target, and he repeats his delivery well. He has some glove side lead, he keeps his arm speed the same with all of his pitches, and he competes in the zone. Abilities on the mound can get better if Jeremy can add strength, tap into more lower 1/2, and add velocity. At the plate, Jeremy has a square set-up, short stride, and decent balance. He keeps a still head, he throws his hands directly to the ball, and he swings in good rhythm. Jeremy has decent bat speed, he makes hard contact, and he can spray the ball to all fields. If Jeremy can improve his load and transfer his weight better, we could see a spike in offensive tool grades.
