07/21/2022 - Baseball Factory National World Series at IMG Academy - Session 2 (HS) Jeremy is a 2B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the National World Series. In the field, Jeremy shows efficient footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws to his target. Getting his glove down sooner can help Jeremy make more backhand plays. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in a closed stance with comfortable hands. He gets into a simple load and generates fast bat speed, producing strong contact. Jeremy can barrel up more baseballs by getting more extension through his swing. On the mound, Jeremy gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and accelerates through his release, finishing with a controlled landing. Jeremy operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 71mph. Breaking ball sits from 59-62mph with 11-5 break. Striding inline toward the plate can help Jeremy improve his pitch command. Overall, Jeremy is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
