06/21/2014 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Jesse showed his best ability to date with his second appearance at the Omaha National World Series. In the OF, he was efficient with his feet and controlled with his body, allowing him to get to balls with some ease and fluidity. He got to a good fielding position, on-time, and was sure handed to field. He threw accurately to his targets and will add life with a throwing program. Offensively, he had good balance throughout the swing path, giving way to plus bat speed and contact ability. He struggled at times with his rhythm/timing, but fought throughout the week, hitting a 2B in one of his last ABs. On the mound, Jesse pounded the zone with a lot of strikes from the 3/4 arm slot. Developing a third pitch will help make him a bit more effective. In all, Brockhouse is a good teammate and a coachable player that has spark to his game.
