12/20/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 John is a very coachable player who worked hard every day during his time at Pirate City. Offensively, this righty steps into the box with a purpose. He has fluid rhythm to load, whips the barrel and connects with pop, hitting line-drives. Even more power potential is there with more lower 1/2 drive. He battled at the plate, going 4 for 6 with 3 singles, 1 double and 2 walks. Behind the plate, Webb sits in well with athletic actions and flexion. Quick footwork allows him to move well laterally and body up pitches in the dirt, centering the ball off of his chest. John is a well-rounded athlete who has a solid all-around skill-set that should provide success leading into his senior season.
