06/12/2013 - Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Team One Florida Dermer ran 7.80 in the 60 yard dash, and got down the line in 5.19 from the right side of the plate. His right handed stroke was primarily from his hands and arms, has some strength there to use. Got his hands out away from his body, and swung back across quickly - creating hook spin and top spin. He singled to left with this type of stroke, but it doesn't allow the barrel to work through the zone as long as would be ideal. Defensively, he worked in front of the ball and got into a solid fielding position. Can work to improve his glove position, wrist needs to be looser to open up glove and soften glove action.
