06/20/2009 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 2 Jonathan is a young two-way player on the mound and at 3B with a tall, athletic looking frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature and fill out. Foot speed is below average and he must get on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. Defensive abilities are near above average as he utilizes his feet well in coming to get and playing through the baseball with a soft glove action. Arm strength is solid average and he will benefit by getting on a strict long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength, raising velocities. He shows a quick release as his hands and feet work well together. At the plate, Bujtas has solid average abilities and power. He shows a balance through an aggressive approach displaying a feel for the barrel. Stance is open and never squares up, causing him to pull off a lot of balls. He was 2 for 8 with a 2B to deep center at the event. On the mound, fastball is straight but locates well down in the zone. Breaking ball is solid average displaying a 12/6 downward shape with tight spin and sharp break as it shows potential to be a quality pitch at the next level. Changeup shows average feel on a flat plane. Stock on the mound will rise as more arm strength is developed. With 2 years to further develop, Jonathan has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
