Jonathan is a lean LHP who graduate in 2024. On the mound, he works to a controlled balance point, has smooth separation and fires from a clean/loose arm action. He gets strong glove-side lead and stays directional toward the dish. FB ranges from 67-69 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball shows 3/9 shape with across break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 4 years to further develop, Jonathan has potential with time and room to progress his game.
