06/12/2013 - Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Team One Florida Oquendo has a long, athletic frame at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds. Defensively, he moved with ease and showed body control on the slow roller play. His actions had some length in the workout, though he played the game with more control and quickness. his arm worked loose and easy, and he got good exit from his hand and carry across the infield with little effort. At the plate, he showed rhythm to hit from both sides along with good balance. He featured a middle to opposite field approach both ways, and his overall move was simple and repeatable. Hi stroke was loose and easy, and appeared perhaps a bit more natural from the right side - though he appears to be very capable both left and right handed. He ran 7.25 in the 60 yard dash, ran 4.41 home to 1B from the left side, and posted 4.52 from the right side. The arrow is pointing up for Oquendo, he has potential to develop further with the glove and should add some power as he adds strength and fills out.
