Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • LHP/1BPosition Projection

07/30/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Jordan showed improvements in his most recent outing with Baseball Factory. Offensively, he got to a launch position on-time and hit with some pop. He was disciplined to hit strikes and put the ball in play. He had good barrel accuracy and got extended through contact. Adding physical strength and utilizing his contact points will increase hit success. Defensively, he positioned himself in the right spots per situation and showed exceptional pick ability. He stays in on every play and is sure to field. Increasing his footwork and range will enable a higher fielding percentage. On the hill, he threw 3 pitches - FB with sink, 1/7 CB, and CH with sink. He has good presence with his big frame and works quickly with his tempo. All in all - Erisman is a great kid that works hard and has a strong baseball IQ, all aspects necessary for next level success.

07/29/2014 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Jordan continues to work hard on his game. At 1B, he shows active footwork and moves well around the bag. He presents his glove out in front and fields the ball cleanly. He moves well laterally and can make the tough plays to his right and left. With the bat, he shows a balanced approach with fluid rhythm. He squares the ball up and utilizes his lower 1/2 to drive the ball. On the bump, Jordan is a strike thrower who fills up the zone. He has smooth mechanics and works in-line toward the dish. FB shows run as CH has hard run and is best pitch. A versatile player - Jordan should find success on the diamond.

08/05/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Jordan battled on the mound during his time at Pirate City. This big framed LHP filled up the zone and threw strikes. He works to a controlled balance point and drives off of his lower 1/2, working downhill toward the dish. He finishes well out over his front side and controls the game. Offensively, Erisman shows good rhythm and gets back into a loaded position. He finds the barrel consistently and had a couple of singles at the event. Jordan is a coachable player who should have success over the next couple of years.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
