Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18)
Jordan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, feet are active as he moves well laterally, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together as he presents glove well out front. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a balanced setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a solid feel for the barrel with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered. At the event, he was 4 for 12 with a 2B. On the mound, fastball sowed a range of 73-76 mph. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound.
