At the plate, this RHH sets up in a simple stance and takes aggressive hacks, driving the ball from gap to gap. On the mound, Jordan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with his chest over his front knee. Jordan operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72mph. Breaking ball sits from 57-58mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits at 66mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Jordan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
