11/12/2023 - National Showcase - Orange (Los Angeles), CA Jordan continues to show as a top prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now 6.85 runner. At SS, defensive abilities are now excellent as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is sure and presents out front. In the OF, defensive abilities are outstanding as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are aggressive as he works to get behind ball and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (90 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter, displaying pro level hitting abilities with near pro level power potential from both sides. Hands are quick (92 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. With 2 years to further develop, Jordan has a lot of potential and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

06/10/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Irvine (Los Angeles), CA This talented, young athlete just continues to impress every time that he steps onto the diamond. At SS, he works fluidly right to left and tracks GB's into a soft mitt funneling smoothly to a quick/clean transfer. Throws are accurate with some zip out of his hand. At the plate, this switch hitter can swing it just as well from both sides. Hands are quick to and through the zone as he barrels the ball up and connects with some pop. On the mound, he has a 3-pitch mix coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. He stays directional and drives downhill toward the dish. Arm works loose and free with some arm-side run on his FB. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with good action. Changeup has some run and compliments his FB well. Jordan is definitely one to keep an eye on as he's only a 2025 grad. The future looks very bright for this skilled 2-way prospect.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Jordan continues to show the makings of a special type player. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At the plate, Jordan shows the ability to hit from both sides of the plate. On the left side he starts in an athletic stance and keeps a quiet head. He attacks the ball with his lower half, stays balanced through contact, and shows pull side power. On the right side he has good rhythm in his load and creates separation. He has a simple stance, rotates his lower half into the ball, and drives the ball gap to gap. Jordan is an aggressive base runner and made several adjustments throughout the week. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
