01/27/2019 - National Tryout Plus - San Diego, CA Jordan showed nice switch hitting abilities as well as solid defensive skills during his last workout with The Factory. He is equally as good from both sides of the plate, showing a square/athletic set-up, good balance, and a rhythmic swing. He has a compact swing from the left, a level path, and he makes hard contact. From the right, Jordan has good hands, a repeatable swing, and he can hit to all fields. At SS, Jordan has efficient footwork to the ball, he fields athletically, and gets good glove extension. He takes proper angles and throws with consistency and momentum across the diamond. In the OF, Jordan has active feet, clean hands, and a short/accurate arm to his cut off man.

07/05/2018 - California Select Training & Competition - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Jordan is an athletic and talented 2025 SS prospect. At SS, Jordan is on time with his prep step, presents a low/early glove, and fields the ball in an athletic position. He has a quick first step to the ball, creates angles, and has range on both sides of the ball. Continuing to practice game like throws in his throwing program will increase his ability to throw from multiple arm angles and on the run. At the plate, Jordan shows the ability to hit from both sides of the plate. On the left side he starts in an athletic stance and keeps a quiet head. He attacks the ball with his lower half, stays balanced through contact, and shows pull side power. On the right side he has good rhythm in his load and creates separation. He has a simple stance, rotates his lower half into the ball, and drives the ball gap to gap. Jordan is an aggressive base runner and made several adjustments throughout the week. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

06/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 12-14) Jordan is a coachable SS prospect who made adjustments well during his time at the Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series. In the field, Jordan shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic fielding position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange with a quick release on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Jordan can improve defensively by taking a better prep step. At the plate, this switch hitter shows well from both sides of the plate. Jordan sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and comes through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed which leads to consistent contact to all fields. Jordan can improve as a hitter by striding square towards the pitcher. With seven more years to develop, Jordan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

02/17/2018 - So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 12-14) Jordan continued to show improvements during his time at the So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a quality swing from both sides. He sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He is smooth getting back into his load and comes through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension through the ball, driving the ball into the gaps. Jordan can improve as a hitter by consistently staying back in his load. With seven more years to develop, Jordan has the time and potential to further progress his skills at the plate.

01/28/2018 - Interactive Video Program - San Diego, CA Jordan is an athletic SS with a thin frame. Defensively, Jordan has efficient footwork, agile movements, and soft/presentable hands. He fields in an athletic position, has a clean exchange, and throws with a short/accurate arm to his target. At the plate, Jordan can switch hit and is currently better from the left side. He has an athletic set-up, good bat speed, and he swings in good rhythm. He is well balanced from both sides, has some pull side pop, and works the middle of the field. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
