06/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 12-14) Jordan is a coachable MIF prospect who made adjustments well during his time at the Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series. In the field, Jordan shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them accurate and on-line to his target. Jordan can improve defensively by getting into a lower fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets into his load well and comes through with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with decent bat speed which leads to square contact and line drives up the middle. Jordan can improve as a hitter by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With five more years to develop, Jordan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

01/21/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Jackson, MS Jordan is a young, 2nd baseman with a thin frame. Defensively, Jordan has efficient footwork, he fields in a low/square position, and his hands are soft. He makes the routine plays, picks out the right hops, and throws with some accuracy across the diamond. Offensively, Jordan has a crouched set-up, a short stride, and proper load. He has good separation, a compact/simple swing, and he can hit to all fields. Jordan can improve skills by working on the following.

Defense
1. Long toss
2. Quicken exchange
3. Throwing accuracy
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Balance
3. Rhythm/timing

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
