01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Jordan continues to show out on the field and did not disappoint this week at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. He's filthy on the bump with a 91mph fastball that has late life and a sharp 10-4 curveball with late bite. He repeats his delivery and hides the ball before it jumps out of his hand to induce bad swings. Defensively, he uses blazing speed and efficient routes to show huge range and the arm to cut down runners looking to advance. He is smooth at the dish with strong, quick hands and a direct path to hit liners to all fields, complementing those skills with speed out of the box. Jordan is a head turner on the diamond who will continue to be very successful in the game.

07/26/2017 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Jordan is an athletic, strong built OF/RHP prospect who has an above average skill set and high upside. In the outfield, Jordan plays with quick footwork and agile actions taking effective angles to attack the baseball. He fields the ball athletically with soft hands and a does a nice job working through the baseball. He has a quick, clean exchange leading into a short arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. Jordan has a quick release showing accurate throws with good carry. Offensively, Jordan has an open, athletic stance with a centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and short, on-time stride. Jordan shows explosive bat speed with an on-plane swing path consistently landing the barrel to the baseball. He is a line drive type hitter who can drive the ball to the gap with power. Jordan shows a confident approach at the plate and is ready to swing the bat. On the mound, Jordan works downhill with effortless actions. He has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action. He extends through his release and stays square to home plate with the proper stride length. Jordan does a nice job rotating towards his target as he finishes. He commands his fastball with tail movement at 88-90 MPH. His curveball has medium break at 73-74 MPH. Overall, Jordan has talent on both sides of the ball and is certain to make an impact at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
