12/28/2023 - National Showcase - Milton, NY Jordan is a 3B/RHP in the 2028 graduating class. Works to center the baseball and fields from a square fielding position. Creates good rhythm on his throws to first base. His throws were accurate, with a quick release, and an arm velocity up to 67mph. A right-handed hitter he sets up in an open stance. Has an on-time load and gets knob to C. Showed good barrel control as he sprayed balls to all fields during his round of BP. A right-handed pitcher he has repeatable delivery. Gathers over the rubber with a clean leg lift. Has a loose arm stroke. A 3-pitch pitcher who works off of his FB that topped 64mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed. Jordan should continue to improve in overall skillsets with continued growth and development.

11/05/2023 - National Showcase - Milton, NY Jordan is a 2028 3B/RHP prospect from Walton, NY. At third, he shows off fluid movements and does a nice job of centering the baseball. He gets in a squared fielding position and presents his hands out in front when fielding, doing a nice job of working through the baseball. He has a clean exchange and a quick release, and he makes accurate throws to his targets from multiple arm slots. At the plate, he starts in a tall stance and shows off some rhythm with his movements to the baseball. He does a nice job of keeping his balance centered through contact and has a firm-frontside with his lower half. He stays short to the baseball and has a middle approach. He works hard to not pull off the baseball. On the mound, Jordan throws from a 3/4 slot and shows off a repeatable motion with solid feel for the strike zone. He does well to gather his balance over the rubber and get on-time separation. He has a quick arm action and is very raw while also being in control. He stays squared to the plate and has a controlled landing. He gets good extension on his curveball and does a great job of working his CH down in the zone. Jordan is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to develop his baseball skills!

08/13/2023 - National Showcase - Binghamton, NY Jordan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, defensive abilities have improved as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork in attacking and playing through ground balls well. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 61 mph. Fastball showed a range of 59-61 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
