05/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Jordan is a corner infielder who can swing it. At the plate, he is a switch hitter and has tremendous abilities from both sides. He has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 98 mph). At 3B, he has plus lateral range for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (95 mph velocity) across the diamond. A projectable 3B, Jordan has a big upside with the makings of a solid draft pick in 2020.

06/05/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South This athletic RHH 3B shows a bright future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. Offensively, he has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage - resulting in a barrel explosion (89 mph exit velocity) with the ball coming off well of his barrel from both sides of the plate. Defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with zip (89 mph velocity) across the diamond. With 2 years to further develop, Jordan has a lot of potential and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
