06/20/2018 - College PREP - Charleston, WV Jordan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a well above average runner at 7.18. At the plate is where he has improved the most, displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work to and through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball utilizing all fields with gap-to- gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through well with momentum to his target. Glove action is soft and he presents well, utilizing two hands through the process. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program.
