12/20/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Jordan is an athletic MIF who worked hard on his skills during his time at Pirate City. With the bat, this RHH shows a square/balanced setup with patience. He whips the barrel with loose hands, connecting and looking to drive the ball back up the middle of the field. He hits the ball where it's pitched with the ability to go the other way, driving 2 singles to right field. Relaxing his grip (will allow for more bat whip) along with engaging his lower 1/2 more will help to increase power at the plate. Defensively, he shows active pre-pitch footwork and moves fluidly from right to left around the GB. Hands are soft and exchange is clean as he stays directional to 1B. Playing through the ball more while gaining ground will help to get even more into his throws. Jordan is a coachable player who has upside (2018 grad) with still time to progress.
