06/09/2010 - Under Armour Southeast Regional Tournament - 2010 Jory is a two-way player on the mound plus at SS with a strong looking frame that is well suited for his positions. Currently, he projects best on the mound for the next level. Delivery is sound showing solid mechanics that allows his arm action to work well away from his body. Arm strength is a plus as his fastball shows a range of 83-85 mph. Off speed pitches show potential of being quality pitches at the next level. He throws strikes with all his pitches, changing speeds well. Defensively, Okerlund shows active feet but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get, playing through the baseball. Hands and feet work well together in get rid of the baseball quickly. Offensively, swing path is level, flashing bat speed through a balanced approach. He flashes gap power with baseball, jumping off his bat when centered. Jory has an upside on the mound and will get looks from the collegiate coaches in need of a quality RHP.
