10/12/2016 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic
Joseph is L/L outfielder and pitcher who will graduate in 2017. In the outfield, Joseph was aggressive in attacking the baseball, showing proper footwork on both ground and fly balls along with a strong/accurate arm. Offensively, showing a quiet/limited movement setup, he showed the ability to keep the bat head in the zone for a long time and spray line drives to all fields. Trying to time his stride/load slightly sooner, will help him make more consistent contact, especially as he advances in this game. On the mound, he featured 3 pitches from a high 3/4 arm angle, including a mid to high 70's fastball with impressive late life and a 1-7 curveball that could work as a true out pitch for him. Joseph is a well-rounded player who will certainly catch the eyes of collegiate coaches in his senior season.

Joseph is an athletic built LHP/OF prospect who graduates in 2017. As a LHP, Joseph takes the mound with a presence and works quickly with composure. His delivery is balanced, on-time, and repeatable as he throws with a loose, free arm action and high 3/4 slot. Joseph maintains square direction with the proper stride length as rotates towards his target and finishes over his knee. He has a full arsenal with a FB with run, a late breaking 1-7 breaking CB, and a deceptive change-up with proven command. In the outfield, Joseph plays with quick, fluid footwork and a good first step giving him above average range. He play with athletic lateral movements opening his hips well. Joseph receives the ball cleanly with a quick exchange. He also has a quick release with momentum towards his target giving his throws online carry. Offensively, Joseph has an open stance and takes a long stride with a load. He has smooth rhythm as he gets extension with his barrel at contact consistently. Joseph is certainly a prospect who can impact a program at the next level in all facets of the game.
01/15/2016 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Joseph showed as a LHP/OF at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament with Baseball Factory. Offensively, the lefty got his hands activated to launch and generated good bat speed with strength in his core. He was aggressive to attack his pitches and flashed good pop. Defensively in the OF, he worked to make plays with efficient footwork and body control. His hands were sure and he utilized the proper footwork to throw to his targets with momentum. On the mound, he threw his FB with tail, spun a 12/6 CB from 63-64, and showed a CH with tail from 66-67. He worked with a quick tempo and changed speeds nicely to keep hitters off balance. He repeated his delivery and worked around the plate with all of his pitches. All in all - Joseph is a projectable guy that has good athleticism and present ability.
12/20/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1
Eggler is a LHP/OF that turned out a quality performance at Pirate City, especially on the mound. Joseph was 79-81 MPH with the fastball that had tailing action which he was able to command. Eggler also featured a 12-6 breaking ball that had late, sharp break and that he showed signs of command with as well. The mechanics for Eggler were proper as he gathers well in the balanced position with loose arm action that allows extension through to the target. He repeats his delivery well and along with quality mechanics, he showed a good feel for pitching and excellent poise. Joseph also displayed a good pick-off move to 1B and really competed with a bulldog mentality on the mound. At the plate, Eggler showed a square set up and activated the hands properly in the stride-load complex. There was good balance throughout the stroke and the bat path is level while staying inside the baseball and producing consistent contact. Avoiding a bat wrap at times, while staying square as opposed to diving and closing off the front side will be beneficial for Joseph and allow him to use the hands that work well. With the positive attributes that Eggler showed and the hard-working mentality that he displayed, this 2017 grad has a nice future in the game.
10/04/2015 - College PREP - Wichita, KS
This athletic 2-way player continues to show well on the diamond. Foot speed has improve as he ran his 60 in 7.03. In the OF, Joseph can cover ground working lightly on the balls on his feet. He gets behind the ball and aggressively plays through it, gaining ground toward his target. Offensively, this lefty has an athletic/balanced setup with rhythm to load. He likes the pitch on the inner 1/2, pulling it with pop. He extends well through contact as the ball jumps off of his barrel. On the mound, Joseph repeats he delivery well with an effective 3-pitch mix. He has a solid mound presence, works to a tall balance point and drives downhill off of the rubber pushing off with a strong lower 1/2. He works his FB to both sides of the plate and keeps it down in the zone, which will result in a ton of GB outs. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with early action. Continuing to develop his off-speed pitches will help him to be that much more effective with the FB. Eggler is a hard worker who has a ton of upside on the diamond.
09/13/2015 - College PREP - Oklahoma City, OK
Joseph is a 2-way southpaw that projects on the mound. At the plate, this LHH shows good rhythm from a strong, slightly open stance. He hits with a consistent, repeatable swing path to all fields. As he works to get his hands through the zone with some whip and strength, he will see more line drive pop. In the OF, he attacks the GB and throws through his target with accuracy and life. He gets behind the ball and gains excellent momentum to home plate. Continuing to make sure he keeps his head still while tracking will take his OF abilities to the next level. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with strong AS run. He shows potential in the tank with a solid base of mechanics and feel for his secondary pitches. Overall, Joseph is a young player with time on his side as he continues to work on the little things to take him to the next level.
