01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14)
Joe is a coachable 2B prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Spring Training in Arizona. In the field, Joe takes a good first step and displays smooth footwork. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws with a quick arm and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Making a quicker exchange can help Joe improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He gets into a small load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact and line drives. Joe can improve as a hitter by working a smoother rhythm into his load. With four more years to develop, Joe has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
