12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Joseph is a hard working/coachable 3rd baseman, who will graduate in 2019. Offensively, he sprayed the ball to all fields, with power, through a tall setup. Lower 1/2 was fully incorporated through contact, and he worked to the baseball with very quick hands (86 mph exit velocity). Working to stride his front foot slightly less distance and then extend his arms thru contact, will improve his already impressive power. Defensively, he read the ball off the bat quickly and took efficient angles to the baseball. Hands were soft and reliable as he did a fine job of working low with his hips and working through the baseball. Arm plays well for the position, as his throws were strong and accurate on a consistent basis. Joseph is a very talented, young player, who has a high ceiling in this game, and with continued hard work will be on the radar of collegiate coaches in the coming years.
