At 3B, he uses soft hands and works through the ball to create strong throws from across the diamond. Joseph is a solid all-around athlete, and with time to grow he has the potential to play the game at a high level.

At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a square stride. He gets his hands activated on time and works through a smooth swing. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and produces strong line drives and gap to gap power. Overall, Joseph is a talented prospect who has a ton of upside and the skill set that will make an immediate impact.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
