08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Josh is a tall, lean 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up but needs to play through more with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate across the diamond but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-pop. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. Josh has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.
