01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City Josh was a high energy ball player that worked hard throughout his time at the Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City. The left handed hitting freshman showed to have a strong/aggressive approach at the plate with good discipline. He showed to be a contact type hitter that got to a hitting position on-time with his body, and worked to get his hands and barrel activated in a strong position. Josh also worked to maintain his posture throughout the swing, and his rhythm - allowing him to generate good leverage & repeatability. In the OF, he worked to make plays with decent glove work. He fielded with two hands, when possible to help speed up his transfer and release. His throws were accurate and he has more arm strength in the tank as he works to stay in-line to his targets and uses his body aggressively to throw. Overall - Josh is a projectable player with time on his side to add strength and consistency for a strong high school career.
