01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Joshmar showed as a prospect at the Preseason All American showcase. At SS, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He starts in an athletic ready position and fields in a square position. Glove action is sure and present well out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. Overall, Joshmar is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

01/22/2023 - National Showcase - Jacksonville, FL Joshmar continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. He did show in the OF for the first time at the event. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body, gaining ground. Hands are clean and presents out front. In the OF, he displays smooth fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his outstanding foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (83 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Joshmar continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Pre-season All American event. At SS, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body, gaining ground. Hands are clean and presents out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with online carry across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn.

01/09/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Jacksonville, FL Joshmar is an athletic SS prospect who continues to shine on the diamond. In the field, Joshmar shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws with carry across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and works through a direct swing. His quick hands generate fast bat speed as he drives the ball from gap to gap. Overall, Joshmar is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14) Joshmar is an athletic 2024 SS prospect that plays the game hard and made several adjustments throughout the weekend. At SS, Joshmar is on time with his prep step, anticipates the ball off the bat, and funnels the ball into his body. He presents a low/early glove, has good double play feeds, and has clean exchange. He needs to continue to improve his first step to the ball and be on time when fielding the ball. At the plate, Joshmar starts in an open stance, gets his front foot down on time, and stays balanced through contact. He loads his hands back into the drive position, and hits off a firm front side. He needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball and create backside rotation with his lower half. Joshmar will continue to improve with reps and experience. He loves the game and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/30/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Jacksonville, FL Joshmar is a young, 2-way player who pitches and plays SS. On the mound, Joshmar has good balance, a quick arm action, and he separates on time. He lands with a proper length stride toward home, competes in the zone, and he uses his whole body. At SS, Joshmar has firm hands, he makes the routine plays on balls hit his way, and he fields in a good position. Offensively, Joshmar has a square/athletic set-up, good balance, and he tracks the ball well. He has some bat speed and hits hard to the pull side. Joshmar can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
