11/10/2016 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City Joshua is a polite and coachable, lean right handed hitting 3rd baseman. In the infield, he started in an athletic setup, which allowed him to work to balls quickly and efficiently. Arm was loose and accurate on throws which he took the time to get his momentum moving to 1st base. Fielding grounders with lower hips will help him get his hands more out in front and presented, which will allow him to get the hops that he wants. Offensively, he showed an opposite field approach, as he got his hands into a good load position, kept his balance centered and attacked the baseball. Setup and finish were athletic and balanced as well. Continuing to try and work his lower 1/2 and hips into his swing will help with power to all fields. All in all, Joshua shows he is willing to listen and be coached, and that paired with his raw talent, will carry him a long way towards being a talented prospect.
